¿Why Castalla - Alicante - Spain?
- Castalla is a quiet and welcoming town, traditionally the Spanish are very hospitable people.
- 2 and a half hours of flight, with regular flights between Dublin and Shannon airports with those of Alicante and Valencia.

How do schools work?
The school year normally begins the second week of September and ends in mid-June.
The school holidays are: (In the Image we see the school calendar for the 24-25 academic year)
- 2 weeks approx. at Christmas
- 2 weeks approx. at Easter
- During the academic year, Bank holidays are sometimes accompanied by more days off, depending on each school’s calendar.
In Spain, as in Ireland, there are public (Community), religious and private schools, all of them are mixed, the Community do not wear uniforms.
